Pages  63-106  In the book I  saw that me and Mary Lou life is easy to connect. Things that she did I can relate to. First of all I also had to keep a summer jounral in school before. I also have a boy-crazy friend just like Beth Ann is. Maggie comes home late just like my older sister does too. And just like Mary Lou has to do Cary Ray’s bad everymoring so do I when a guest comes to stay.

Room 140 -

1. Describe Beth Ann’s new behavior. How does Mary Lou feel about it?

Beth Ann’s is ignoring Mary Lou because she is going boy crazy over some boy. She is now spending more time with Derek than her own best friend Mary Lou.   She is acting very rude because she didn’t think of Mary Lou feelings or try to make plans with her.

2. How does Mary Lou react when Mr. Furtz dies?

Mary couldn’t belived how he died because in the book she said a person so healthy-looking as Mr.Furtz  could have an heart attack. She was suprised and scared. She was also worrying about how her parents seems healthy and she doesn’t want anything to happen to them.

This week my job was the summmarizer. My  group read to page 62. What I think was important to summrize in the book is  Mary Lou older sister got grounded for coming late from a party with Kenny. Mary Lou is getting preety annoyed with Carl Ray and always doing his bed every moring. And to add that her best friend is going boy crazy over a boy she went out with. And now she is stating to ingored her. At least she sees Alex Cheevey at the pool few times. And wait till you hear this. Carl Ray finally got a job! His job is at a hardware store. His boss and also Mary Lou neighbor died from a heart attack.Maggie got ungrounded and went to fancy party with Kenny and called that she wants to stay longer so shs didn’t get in trouble. Being summmarizer helped me understand and remember the story better.

 There was a passage that I thought was important pages 3-6. I thought these pages were important because Mary Lou was introducing and saying the characteristics of the charaters in the book. It helps you understand the chareters better. Also  I picked these pages because it tells you why she needs to keep a summer jounral and that mainly what the book is going to be about.

The  Titanic or known as the ” Unsinkable Ship” was on its first trip when it hit an huge floating iceburg .

1.Why was Paul content to be backup goalie?

He Knew shranda  was an all-state goalie and she had more experiance being a goalia and that he will still have to subtitute for her in every game.

2. What happened when Paul went in to the soccer game for Victor? What was Victor’s reaction?

He scored a goal. Vitor had to get stiches for his forehead and after the game he congragualated  Pual.

Why didn’t Maya need Mrs. Fisher’s encouragement?”

Maya is a good player. She had experiance before and didn’t need Mrs. Fisher for encouragement. 

     If I was going to used the book Tangerine into a movie the background I would used  in the beginning of the story when Paul and his mom is about leave is enjoyable music because nothing going wrong. When Paul and his mom saw the smoke I would put nervous and fast music because the were running around the house to see where the smoke is at. When his brother Eric was talking to Mike Castello is thinking and listening music because Paul was listening to them both talk. Also when him and his mom was checking out the middle school I would put curious music because they want to see if it is a good school. Last of all, is when Paul is playing soccer with Joey and his friends I would put action music because he is blocking all the shots.
